Questions
Is there a Tesla Roadster game?
Yes. As of October 16, 2026 there are at least three you can play free in a browser: Roadster Rally (roadster.game), Teleoperator and Soccar. Roadster Rally is the one built around the reveal itself, with the stage, the lineup and clips from the keynote.
Can you fly the Tesla Roadster in a game?
Yes, in Teleoperator: hold J to fire the thrusters and the Roadster lifts off the street, with gauges for downforce, pitch and altitude; we took it past 100 feet over Russian Hill. Press Space in the air to flip it. In Roadster Rally, hold Space (or keep your finger down) in the air to stretch the flight. In Soccar, hold F in the air for the hover jets.
How do you fly and flip the Roadster in Teleoperator?
Open the game with the Roadster picked (the FLY THE ROADSTER button above opens teleoperator.mindblown.ai/?car=roadster), wait about a minute for the city to load, press DRIVE, then: W to build speed, hold J to fire the thrusters and climb, Space to flip in the air, Q for the fans. R puts you back on the road. It needs WebGPU: current Chrome or Edge on a computer, or Safari 26 (iOS 26 on iPhone).
Is there a flying car game in the browser?
Teleoperator is the one we know where a road car really flies: the Roadster on its thrusters over San Francisco. Roadster Rally is a one-button version, and in Soccar the Roadster hovers for aerials.
Are these official Tesla games?
We found no claim from Tesla or the makers that any of them is official or endorsed. Roadster Rally credits Grok ("Accelerated with Grok") and names no creator; Teleoperator comes from Mindblown, an AI game-making platform; Soccar calls itself an unofficial fan project and says Epic Games, which owns Rocket League, does not endorse it.
Do they work on a phone?
Teleoperator plays by touch in landscape (it needs WebGPU: iOS 26 on iPhone). Roadster Rally shows a tap control on phones, but our touch test did not confirm a flip. Soccar needs a keyboard or a controller. More in our guide to browser games on your phone.
What did the real Roadster do at the reveal?
On October 15, 2026, at a SpaceX test facility in Texas, Tesla showed the second-generation Roadster driving up a curved ramp upside down, flying off the end and rolling over to land on its wheels, then hopping over a Cybercab, Cybertruck, Semi, Model Y and Model 3. Tesla says a fan-based suction system holds the car to the road and cold-gas thrusters do the flying; Musk called it a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. Musk said production starts in 2028; no price was announced, and Tesla's site says the flying version is not approved for public roads. Coverage: TechCrunch, NBC News, CBS News.
Can I buy the real one?
Not yet. Musk said production starts in 2028, and no price was announced; Tesla says the flying version is not approved for public roads. The games are free.
