What's the game?
A fan-made Tesla Roadster game that UBD Games put online on October 16, the day after the reveal. START ENGINE plays the launch: the Roadster comes off a giant vertical ramp, spins through the air and lands on a neon city road at night. From there the car speeds up by itself. Switch lanes and hold Space, or the FLY button, to fire the air thrusters and lift off over the traffic jam; we got it to about 30 metres. Come down on the cars and you bounce from roof to roof and send traffic flying. The goal is printed at the start: eat five giant Elon Musk heads, each one a turbo boost, then reach the Mars launch pad at 3 km. Get there with five and you blast off to Mars and land in the Musk Empire; miss and you fall back to Earth. Hit too many people and a flying police Roadster comes after you, and in the air there are flying Doges. There are 12 endings to collect, and the world ranking is a pure time attack, fastest to Mars, all-time and today. The best run was 56.37 seconds when we looked on October 20, and most of the board was from South Korea.

What to expect
Free, no account and no download, and we saw no ads: the page loads its own files and Google's analytics tag. A FREE CAR SKINS button gives you a share link, and every friend who plays from it unlocks a new skin; nothing is for sale. The menu calls it a fan game, not affiliated with Tesla, SpaceX or Elon Musk. The studio is UBD Games, a South Korean maker of free web games (games.ubd.gg); we found no claim about how it was made. It is laid out for a phone held upright, with left, FLY and right buttons along the bottom, and on a computer it plays in the same tall frame. We played it in Chrome on a computer and tested the touch buttons on an emulated iPhone.
Controls: ← → or A / D change lanes; hold Space (or Shift) to fire the thrusters and fly. The car accelerates by itself; ↑ / W and ↓ / S work as gas and brake. C switches the camera, M mutes, P pauses. On a phone: the on-screen left, FLY and right buttons.

The story behind it
On October 15, 2026, at a SpaceX test facility in Texas, Tesla showed the second-generation Roadster driving up a curved ramp upside down, flying off the end and rolling over to land on its wheels, then hopping over a Cybercab, Cybertruck, Semi, Model Y and Model 3. Tesla says a fan-based suction system holds the car to the road and cold-gas thrusters do the flying; Musk called it a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. Musk said production starts in 2028; no price was announced, and Tesla's site says the flying version is not approved for public roads.

It is made for one: the game asks you to hold the phone upright and puts left, FLY and right buttons along the bottom, and the car speeds up on its own. On a computer it uses the arrow keys and Space. In our touch test on an emulated iPhone, holding FLY lifted the Roadster off the road.
