What's the game?

Pick Solo, choose a map (Nacht der Untoten, Warehouse, Tikhaya Noch, Warehouse Classic, Christmas Special, House, Temple, Overlook, user maps or random), then set the rules before you start: game mode, difficulty, starting round, headshots only, fast rounds and horde size. You start with a Colt M1911 and 500 points while zombies break in through boarded windows, and chalk outlines on the walls mark the guns you can buy. Each round brings a bigger wave, and a scoreboard at the end shows how many rounds you survived.

What to expect

Unofficial: an original fan remake inspired by the Nazi Zombies mode of Call of Duty: World at War (Treyarch / Activision), not a port of that game. The NZ:P Team has worked on it since 2009 and builds it on enhanced forks of the Quake engine. Its code is open source (GPLv2) and its own assets are licensed CC-BY-SA 4.0. The team's itch.io page says no generative AI was used. Free, with no account and no ads that we saw. The first visit downloads about 96 MB, mostly a 94 MB game pack, and we waited about 90 seconds for the main menu. This web build is 2.0.0-indev from 2026-09-03. The menu also has a Cooperative mode, which we did not try.

Controls: WASD move, mouse look, left click fire; the full key list is under Configuration in the main menu.
