What's the game?

Set a nickname, pick Solo, Duo or Squad (or the timed 50 v 50 event), and you wait in a lobby with other players before the round starts; ours filled from 36 to 45 players while the countdown ran. The game is top-down and 2D: break shiny boxes and open chests for loot, open doors, and fight for the last spot. The site calls it a 100-player battle royale. The menu also has daily and weekly challenges, cosmetics and a shop.

BEFORE YOU PLAY

What to expect

Free, guest play; logging in is optional. A cookie bar comes first. The page loads an ad network (Longitude), and the shop sells gems for real money next to the coins you earn. There are also phone apps on the App Store and Google Play. About 8 MB; it took around 100 seconds to reach the menu on our slow software renderer (faster on a normal computer). No AI build claim.

Controls: From the game's own help: WASD or the arrow keys move, left mouse fires, E opens doors and loots chests.
