What's the game?

QUICK PLAY joins a live match first and fills the rest with bots. Ours went through a short 'Get ready' lobby to a class pick (Assault with an M4 carbine, a sidearm, a stim and a frag grenade; custom classes carry an MPX SMG, an L115 .338 sniper or an M870 pump) and then 'FIGHT!': 5 v 5 team deathmatch, first to 75 kills in ten minutes, with a minimap and killstreaks for a UAV, a strike and a chopper. Customize modes adds Free-for-all, Domination, Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack, and whole mode sets for Prop Hunt, Football and co-op Zombies; there are also lobbies, parties, custom matches and ranked play.

What to expect

Free, guest play: levels, unlocks and crates are saved on your device, and an account saves them online and adds ranked play and the leaderboards. Matches take up to 12 players, and bots fill the empty slots: at 1 AM Pacific ours was us and nine bots. The menu carried a note from the team that they know about lag and are moving to faster servers. About 14 MB. No AI build claim.

Controls: From the in-game hints: WASD move, Left Shift sprint (double-tap for a tactical sprint), Left Shift + C slide, Space jump, left click fire, right click aim, R reload, G frag (hold to cook), Q stim.
