ACTION / SINGLE PLAYER; ONLINE ROOMS FILLED OUT WITH BOTS
Sky Reach
Four worlds, one broken warp drive: pilot a battered starship over alien moons, chase beams of light and recover the warp cores that get you home.
OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL
Why it's on the wall
Big-sky flying with a cinematic look, and tripping a walker with a harpoon is a set piece you remember. Ignore the chatty 'pilots'.
Written by Neon Gamewall. An opinion, not a player rating.
GAME BRIEF
What's the game?
Fly a scuffed white-and-orange starship low over Elysia's grass, sandstone arches and rock spires under a giant ringed planet, then climb out of the atmosphere for fleet dogfights. Follow beams of light to ancient spires, land and continue on foot with a jetpack and a mining beam, and recover four warp cores across its moons and a ring world. On the ground, giant walkers march in: harpoon a leg, circle it until the cable wraps, and bring it down.
BEFORE YOU PLAY
What to expect
Made on Tesana, an AI game maker whose FAQ says its engine is code-based using LLMs; the creator has not described their own process. Runs on three.js in the browser, desktop only, and free to play as a guest with no in-app purchases. 12,002 plays on Tesana when we listed it. The online rooms (up to 32 pilots) are topped up with scripted bot pilots and canned chat, so 'pilots in your area' are mostly not people. The walker takedown is an open nod to the Hoth battle in The Empire Strikes Back, without its names or art.
Controls: Mouse steers, W/S throttle, A/D yaw, Shift boost, Space climb or jump, C descend, left click or F fire, H harpoon, E land, M map.
