What's the game?
You wake up in a glade with an empty stall. Pick mushrooms, carry them to the pot to cook stew and serve the first customers yourself; then hire a picker, a cook and a stall keeper who copy what you showed them, and the glade keeps going without you. The maker lists 10 hand-drawn areas, from herb meadows and berry thickets to the Swamp, the Snow Caves and a hidden Fairy Land, each with its own chain of goods (tinctures, jam, yarn, packed fish, clay pots, iron ingots, moon potions and more), 14 characters with 52 quests, upgrade shops, random market events such as caravans, critics and cheeky magpies, a home to furnish and a daily gift from Grandma. We pressed PLAY, walked to the mushroom logs, filled the pack with five mushrooms and watched three customers line up at the stall while the game asked for two mushrooms in the pot.
