Why it's on the wall

The most grown-up looking of the io shooters: a proper class pick, a capture-point map, and gunplay that feels close to the big console games.

GAME BRIEF

What's the game?

Press PLAY on the menu and it matchmakes you ('MATCH FOUND') into a public game. Pick a class (SMG, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun or Semi-Auto Sniper) and you spawn into a team match over points A, B and C with a five-minute clock. Our match had eight players. Private and Queue on the menu are for games with friends and ranked play.

BEFORE YOU PLAY

What to expect

Free, guest play: the 'Sign in with Google' button and the daily challenges are optional. The menu carries display ads (ours were World of Tanks banners) and a shop and locker for cosmetics. About 21 MB. The menu said around 1,300 players were online. No AI build claim.

Controls: WASD move, mouse aim, left click shoot, right click aim down sights, Shift slide, Space jump, R reload, Tab scoreboard, Enter chat.
