ORIGINAL GAME PREVIEW / GAME OPENS ON CREATOR'S SITE
MULTIPLAYER / SOLO WITH AI CREW, OR MULTIPLAYER
Everest Drive
A multiplayer spaceship crew sim in the browser: a black hole for an engine, Newtonian flight, cargo to haul and pirates to hunt or become.
OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL
Why it's on the wall
Bridge-crew fantasy without the headset. Bring one friend who will take the engines seriously.
Written by Neon Gamewall. An opinion, not a player rating.
GAME BRIEF
What's the game?
Everest Drive puts a crew on one ship. The site's pitch: a black hole for an engine, a crew counting on you, an entire solar system to make your own. Haul cargo, hunt pirates, or turn pirate yourself. Flight is pure Newtonian, in its makers' words: momentum is real, you flip the ship and burn to brake, and cutting the engines means you keep drifting. Fly solo with an AI crew or with other players.
BEFORE YOU PLAY
What to expect
Free to play, no download, in the browser, per the site. Expect a learning curve: the physics does not forgive, and a crew is the point. The studio does not name itself on the page. No AI build claim is made.
Controls: Keyboard and mouse; ship systems are run from stations by the crew.
