ORIGINAL GAME PREVIEW / GAME OPENS ON CREATOR'S SITE
MMO / MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER, 5-PLAYER PARTIES
Duskmere
A free 3D browser MMORPG with ten slow-burn skills, a player-run market, parties and a five-player dungeon.
OUR TAKE / EDITORIAL
Why it's on the wall
If you miss the early-2000s grind, this is the honest version of it in a tab: skills that take real time, a market run by players, and a dungeon that needs friends.
Written by Neon Gamewall. An opinion, not a player rating.
GAME BRIEF
What's the game?
Duskmere is a persistent 3D world in a browser tab, built in the creators' own TypeScript and WebGPU engine rather than Unity or Unreal. Ten skills take real time to raise (woodcutting, mining, smithing, fishing, firemaking, cooking, tailoring, alchemy, enchanting and your character level), there is a player-run economy, hotbar combat with cast times, a talent tree, sea voyages, five-player parties and the Hollowroot Depths dungeon.
BEFORE YOU PLAY
What to expect
Free, with nothing to buy to progress, by the project's own description. Make an account, press Play, and you are in. It needs a current browser with WebGPU (Chrome or Edge) and is built for desktop first, though the site says it is playable on mobile. No AI build claim is made.
Controls: WASD movement, hotbar combat with cast times.
